  It was perfect for our needs. Relaxed and friendly. Lovely location; even our non-lake-view (and therefore cheaper) room had a fine view.   My two young children had enough space in our clean room at Hotel de la Place, Annemasse. The staff were very helpful and the hotel is close to various eateries + superb play area (C-Aventure in Ville Le Grand) is only a bus away from the hotel! Lots of shops nearby and good restaurants. Everything is literally steps away. We arrived late --- 2 am, and the front desk service was absolutely excellent. No problems here.   Location is right in the middle of the city but you can't drive to it. Parking was a nightmare to find on a Friday afternoon and was located a short distance up a hill from the hotel. We didn't mind too much as we filled a backpack for our overnight stay and left the larger suitcases in the car. The hotel itself was great. Good facilities.   I receptionen fick man förstklassig service inkl utmärkta råd. - Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We could easily come and go. - Beds were comfortable and we had adjoining rooms for us and children. A kettle was a nice touch so we could make drinks although no milk of any sort provided.
