This is certainly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The welcome was warm and we were very pleased we were upgraded to a luxury room - presumably as we were staying three nights and they had the space. Very attentive staff, discrete and professional. We arrived early, and staff when out of their way to make us feel at home: we were offered a room to shower and change, and showed to the small private beach where we relaxed until our room was ready.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, with a great view of the gulf.
All through our short stay, the staff proved friendly and helpful.
A great first night in Corsica !

The hotels gardens and public areas were lovely, so were the staff. They even drove us down to the town one evening when no taxis were available. Smashing breakfast with lots of local produce.
Rooms were clean and lovely, we got upgraded to a comfort duplex so had plenty of space.
We had a great time in the hotel :-) -

season (early April). Had a very nice and relaxing time. The Hotel has a
great location, with an own beach and a mini-marina. You can walk to old

Fabulous location right on the edge of the bay. Breakfast not 5 m from the water and clearly the breakfast ladies were very proud of what they were offering - the best selection I had on Corsica. Restaurant is very good but the short 15 minute walk (climb!) into town is also well worth it with very many good restaurants on offer. Very enjoyable location to begin my holiday.

I was a little concerned about pervious negative reviews of the hotel,
but my wife and I had an amazing time at Carre Noir. The hotel is
located on the hillside overlooking the magnificently beautiful Santa
Giulia Bay, and is a five minute drive from Palombaggio Beach and 10
