We booked one night and ended up staying 6 nights. We were there in off-
season (early April). Had a very nice and relaxing time. The Hotel has a
great location, with an own beach and a mini-marina. You can walk to old
town Porto Vecchio within 10 -15 min. Great views from the rooms.

charming. Very nice hosts! We felt welcome from the first minute. It was
not the fake friedliness which you get in the big hotel chains but the
charm -
Fabulous location right on the edge of the bay. Breakfast not 5 m from the water and clearly the breakfast ladies were very proud of what they were offering - the best selection I had on Corsica. Restaurant is very good but the short 15 minute walk (climb!) into town is also well worth it with very many good restaurants on offer. Very enjoyable location to begin my holiday.

The location of the hotel is its best feature. It is close to the beach
- you can walk to a very beautiful beach within 5 minutes. It also
overlooks the sea and the citadel. İt has a nice view if you have an
upper floor room on the front. The parking is convenient and free. The

I was a little concerned about pervious negative reviews of the hotel,
but my wife and I had an amazing time at Carre Noir. The hotel is
located on the hillside overlooking the magnificently beautiful Santa
Giulia Bay, and is a five minute drive from Palombaggio Beach and 10
minutes from Porto Vecchio. Most of the staff were not perfectly

Very nice rooms, excellent facilities, close to beach and generally good
customer service, breakfast was also good. We felt very welcome on our
honeymoon and are not regretting our choice. Forget about Ajaccio, this
hotel is in a perfect location as the beach is not overcrowded. -

This hotel has got to have one of the best views on earth. Dining on the terrace watching the sunset was unforgetable. You probably pay 100€ extra for the view but its worth it.

The hotels gardens and public areas were lovely, so were the staff. They even drove us down to the town one evening when no taxis were available. Smashing breakfast with lots of local produce.
Rooms were clean and lovely, we got upgraded to a comfort duplex so had plenty of space.
We had a great time in the hotel :-) -
