A wonderful old, quirky hotel right in the middle of Bayeux literally a stone's throw from the tapestry museum and the cathedral with great restaurants, cafes and bars right on its doorstep. Lovely staff who as a regular guest always seem to remember the extra
chair I like in my room and mugs with handles. Well done all of you.

We were very pleased with the room we reserved at the ibis hotel. It was
modern, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Its’ signature is the
Poppy. Poppies adorn the carpets of the halls and the room numbers of
each door; very classy. I figure this was the nicest room we stayed in
during the entire two weeks we traveled around France and England.

It was a great place to stay for what we needed and staff was very
friendly and helpful, price was right, our only complaint was that we
didn't realize it was out of Bayeux approx. 4Kms and we didn't
have a rental car (and there weren't any to rent in town) so we
needed to taxi everywhere and that got a bit pricey.
