  1. Newly renovated/refurbished; the buildings, rooms, and grounds appeared in top shape. 2. Very pleasant & helpful staff, including room cleaning staff who immediately replaced a burned out light bulb. 3. Wifi included, and it worked well in our room. 4. The hotel even let us leave our car in the car park after we had checked out, so that we wouldn’t have to park in - My husband and I booked the Hotel for a dbl room for 5 nights some time prior to our travels. We arrived mid-Oct. From a stay in Sardinia; our grand tour continues until end of Jan. 2014 so we have lots of stuff. The room held for us was very small @ 100E/night plus 10Epp/day for simple breakfast. We asked and we offered a great apt. With kitchenette @140E/day(posted@ 165/day. So we took it , of course, w/o breakfasts...we can buy lots of suitable food for 20e daily! The location is wonderful,

  Le Castelet Des Alpilles in St. Remy was absolutely, perfectly divine! Our room was spacious, idyllic, surrounded by gardens and flowers with a balcony overlooking the Alpilles mountains. Innkeeper Roymonde was lovely, attentive, resourceful. What a find! We loved staying in St. Remy, for walking the little town, and for its proximity to sights... vad folk säger » in Provence. We'd return again in a heartbeat! - Room was quite large, quiet and had a beautiful view. The lady at reception accompanied us to our room, and carried my suitcase. The hotel is a nice old building, and only a short walk from town. The breakfast buffet was adequate (6/10).

  We were two couples in a two bedroom apartment for a short visit to Aix-en- Provence. The price was good, and the hotel was close enough to town-- not in the center, but a short trip by car. The rooms were clean and simple, and morning breakfast was filling for a long day of sightseeing.
