  Helpful and cheerful staff. Neither bedside light worked, so I pointed this out to the lady on reception. She immediately sent up a repair man who fixed it by plugging in the lamps to the wall socket - whoops. The pool's OK but a little claustraphobic; surroundings and decor are very pleasant and the room was easy to get and keep warm. Breakfas... vad folk säger » t was quite grand but a little pricey at €9 each. We sampled this on the first morning, then went across the road to PifPaf where a breakfast with go - One of the better French 2star hotels. We would definitely go there again. Quiet setting with large garden well equipped for relaxing. Small indoor pool. Lift. Comfortable clean bedrooms plenty of space, bath/shower room. Good breakfast in large sunny room with attentive service. Friendly helpful staff speak some English. Pension rate looks good value and we ate an evening dinner on arrival which was nicely cooked and served, the menu not very adventurous but very tasty and substantial. Close t

  This is a beautiful chateau/hotel, outside and inside. We were passing through but would have loved to have stayed longer. Restaurant is excellent and my food requirement information had been passed from booking to the restaurant staff - very impressed. Rooms are spacious comfortable/luxurious with super bathroom and views over the hotel grounds f... vad folk säger » rom every window. Breakfast room and breakfast are really excellent. - It was fun to spend a night at a country Château. The building has some neat features such as the library (which was designed to look like the inside of a crusades tent), the basement pool, and the winding stone staircases that make you feel like you're in a medieval castle.

  Clean, adequately equipped room with very convenient, direct access to great hot water spa complex (room and spa deals available). Reasonable value, all things considered. Soothing spa just the ticket after a long drive.

  Excellent front desk, nice pool & sauna, bathrobes, terrace & lounge, good location, great view from "superior room", adequate car park - Great welcoming from the staff ! Short distance from the town center. Nice view from the bedroom window.

  Great views of mountain. Good location - walk to restaurants and shops in lovely Mont Dore in 2 mins. Very good staff, answered questions, advised on skibus, skihire etc. Spa staff kindly let us relax and change after last day prior to long drive home. Good modern bathrooms, and decent beds.   Excellent location in a beautiful part of France, within walking distance of the town which has shops & restaurants. The chalet had everything we needed and was a great place to relax after sightseeing. We prepared our own evening meals and enjoyed sitting on the porch eating them as the sun went down with a nice glass of wine.
