  I did not expect much from this hotel when I booked as I just needed a place close to Gare de L'est and Gare du Nord so that would be convenient for me to catch the trains to Strasbourg and Antwerp.   Excellent hotel, central location-literally 20seconds from metro station (10min from city centre).Good value for money considering its peak season for paris and reservation made 3 weeks before. The young gentleman gave us the room from early morning rather than going bac - I had a very nice 3-night stay. Air conditioning - - Hotel arranged for pick up from train station, which worked out quite nicely - Picked the hotel on purpose away from station, as arriving and departing stations were different. - Location is still very good, right on Metro stop, and next to terminus for 2 buses, which go to Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame and Gare du Nord. Made it easy for us to get on the bus with our luggage to go to Gare du Nord. Also found Subway and an Indian restaurant practically next door, which took care of our food needs.
