  The hotel is great, very modern, big and pleasant room and bathroom, all the comfort you can expect. The location is good in terms of being beside the train station if you are traveling by train but not that safe specially on Friday/Sat. nights, good thing is there are guards around. Actually, the only thing we think needs to improve is the staff... vad folk säger » 's way to alternate with customers, we find there were very cold and not trying to help. This is something they need to change, at least some of them. - This was the best hotel we ,stayed in on our whole six-week trip!!! The room was spacious, comfortable, modern, and very clean. The bathroom was very modern and clean, with an excellent shower. The Reception staff were helpful and spoke English well. Our only regret was we were only staying one night. Would have loved to have stayed longer. After the tiny hotel rooms, and bathrooms, in Paris and Stasbourg, this hotel was wonderful!!!! We would definitely recommend this hotel.

  This was a great place to get to see the sights, markets old Lyon. Plenty of small boulangerie and other shops to buy food items to prepare - (we booked a suite) instead of paying 10e for breakfast in the ding room. There is a large internationally styled shopping centre, (Confluence)including a supermarket and restaurants just one tram stop away ... vad folk säger » - an easy walk. It was also close to the large Perrache station with trains to other parts of France and Europe. It was however quiet at night. - The hotel is conveniently located in the Confluence neighbourhood, perfect if you access Lyon by car from south. Parking is easy to find outside the hotel and they also have a garage. Staff is wonderful and eager to help. Ophelie at check-in was kind enough to help us choosing the room. Breakfast was good and not expensive. Position for sightseeing is great, if you don't feel like driving there is a subway station just 5 minutes from the hotel. Will recommend it to anyone going to Lyon.

Direkt utanför hotellet ligger en spårvagnshållplats som förbinder järnvägsstationerna Part-Dieu och Perrache via tunnelbanelinje D hållplats Guillotière. Part-Dieu shoppingcenter ligger vid hotellet och har ca 250 butiker öppna mån-lör.   We really enjoyed our stay. The school themed design is quirky and original. Our 6th rooms were light, airy, comfortable and stylish with exceptional views from the balcony. Having failed to be alerted on your website to the hotel's limited parking, we were saved from a fruitless search around Vieux Lyon for a space by the receptionist's thoughtfulness and consideration.   The hotel is excellent, the rooms were big, very clean, looked new and had a very nice bathroom (and even a decent size refrigerator). Our room had a flat-screen tv that was ok (maybe a bit small) but since we barely used it, it did not bother us. The hotel has free Wifi both in the room and in the lobby with speed that was more than adequate for ... vad folk säger » our need. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Most (all?) of the staff spoke English and had good knowledge of the main sights. There was a Metr - The Lodge opened for business a few months ago. The layout and the available facilities are all well planned and thought through. Though not flashy, everything one needs are there and functional. The staffs are excellent, courteous and most helpful in every aspect. There are ample free parking on the street next to the Lodge. I will definitely recommend the lodge to anyone so does not want to pay for the extra pampering of a five star hotel and yet. Great value for money!
