The guest house is well located in zone 2 of Paris metro (Paris is divided in 5 metro zones, Disneyland and CDG airport are in zone 5). Its 5-7 minutes walk from Merie des lilas (Merie de lila in English) metro (M-11) station connecting to centre of Paris. Travelling to main attractions through metro costs one way Euro 1.7 (1.3 if bought 10 tickets). Arriving from CDG air port costs Euro 7.5 per person through metro and Euro 40 through taxi (4-5 persons). Near by grocery store and few restauran.
alla recensioner » Sonia the Korean lady of this family hostel is a very very nice person, as well as her husband and her mother. The breakfast is good, she will also make a sandwich for everyone as lunch. She is currently looking for 2 person to do the laundry work and the cleaning work for her, since her mother is getting older. Should you be interest in that, in return of lodging she provides, contact her at once:). Sonja is amazing and sooo helpful - she has maps and helped us to find all we needed(her husband so grumpy ,sadly) we also left a cellphone behind which she looked after until we cld collect. Les Lillas is a bit out of city but the metro is fast and easy and it was so nice to be amongst french people. A great location. The cleaner is sooo meticulous and all was spotless every day. Sabine house is near metro station, there is a wonderful bakery nearby. Les Lilas seems like a little town outside Paris. We liked it a lot. The landlady was wonderful, she spoke english very well and she even let us park our car in her private parking lot during the next day, after we checked out. Great for visiting Paris with family!. It is placed near the metro station (10 min on foot) and you can access to the center of Paris within 30 min. The town Les Lilas seemed safe and there is a grocery store near the Metro station. All about Sabine house was comfortable; everybody was kind, the room and also bathroom was kept clean. The owner of the hostel is so nice :) It is a korean hostel , all the facilities is clean. The staff are friendly. Although it is not in the Paris city, merto station is nearby. It takes only 20mins to be in the city. Everythg here is relaxing n nice. The area near the hostel is safe. The location is near the metro station, we walked from metro to hostel around 5 to 10 minutes. The landlady is nice and helpful. It is a good opportunity chat with other guests inside the house. Good experience. The best host ever! She treated everyone like her family. Very very nice lady. And the house is clean and cute. I love how she made us sandwiches for lunch everyday. Very good experience for my first trip in Paris!. Very friendly staff, quite area and good location and near to metro station, very good for family with young children. Super market and restaurants are just for walking distence. We walk only 5 minutes from Sabina to Metro. Everything very good, quiet in the night,cleanning the room everyday,the owner Sonia very kindness. We are very happy in Paris. Everybody was so nice and flexible with us. The room was clean and they cleaned it every day. It's a very good and cheap apartmen close to the metro station. Nice owners, great value hostel for paris. 10 min walk from metro. The place was nice but our room was really small, nothing else but beds. Our landlady was quite strict, but it was okay. Nothing bad to say besides the small room. Staff has really shown their hospitality. It was close to metro and metro takes 15 min to center from there. Close to one of the metro's, easy access into the city. No parking costs. good breakfast although I didnt know so didnt make the most of it,. The staff is very nice. And the price is very good. It has got cosy atmosphere like home. The owner is generous enough to provide you with a baguette sandwich for your lunch meal beside a breakfast. New towels should be provided as the provided ones were old and stiff. the number of sockets is less than the number of people in the dorm, maybe you would like to bring a patch board with you if you're travelling with many e-devices. Not the greatest bedding and pillows but clean. We stayed at studio for 5 near the entrance door. In the middle of the night we were woken up by loud noises from the hall, incl. repeating buzzing of the door - some guys were probably returning from the pub? They were laughing, taking shower, using toilet... it seemed like we were in the same room with them. They finally went to sleep at 6 am. Should we stay again at Sabine house, we would definitely ask the landlady to make sure we will get a good night sleep. The road outside the hostel is a bit quiet, but it is safe. My bed sheet was splotchy, but I can accept. Nothing!. it was fine. Beds could be more comfortable. Not very clean. The glasses were sticking onto the shelves for example. the lady was grumpy to start off with, although maybe she was stressed??? became more friendly later on. The place is a little bit far from downtown but very near the metro. You need 30 minutes to get to the train station (Gare de Lyon). The room doesn't seem so clean but quite at night.
