Please note that the guest rooms are not in the main château. A continental breakfast made using seasonal produce is served every morning at the Château de Léognan. BBQ facilities are provided on site and there is a communal kitchen. The centre of Léognan is 4.5 km from this B&B, and free private parking is available on site. Bordeaux Airport is a 25-minute drive away. Guests can visit the chapel and taste Château Léognan's wine upon request.

Loved the Chateau, the owners are doing a superb job of renovation on both the chateau and the chapel. Our room was excellent and we understand that every room is different but they have all be done in an individual style, The staff were very helpful and recommended an excellent restaurant, K2 Brasserie at Gradignan, which provided one of the best meals we have had in France at a very reasonable cost. We loved our stay and would look to return in the future.
alla recensioner » We needed a hotel within 30 mins of Bordeaux airport on Sat morning and the chateau was perfect. We had a guided tour of the chapel and vineyard by Liz, who was charming and knowledgeable, as was her mother who looks after the B&B side of the business. Lovely breakfast. The place is very beautiful.Our special thanks to Mrs Chantal for her hospitality.She made our staing in Leognan unforgetable,the atmosphere was so good that we feeled like at home.We strongly recomend to everyone to spend his vocation at Leognan. Very nice place!!! The surrounding is so calm! The owners are very kind and helpful. The rooms are very nice decorated and I liked that the small details (bathrobes, slippers and even toilet paper) are combined with the furniture of each room. The room was very nicely decorated. The owner is charming. The breakfast was good. It would be nice to stay for at least 2 nights and visit the area more. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location was in the countryside, but fairly close to Bordeaux. The accommodations were very comfortable. Lovely comfortable room. Dressing gown slippers etc. kitchen to make coffee and drinks in the fridge. Lovely fresh breakfast breads. Wonderfull area for a walk in the nature or for jogging. Pleasant ambiance, very clean with air-conditioning which was a necessity. Breakfast was okay but a bit limited in content and variety. The addition of cereals, fresh fruit, cheese and ham would have made a big difference. There are no restaurants within walking distance, but driving into Leognan to eat was a small price to pay for staying in such lovely surroundings. The soundproofing between rooms was not great. We came back very late from a wedding and although we tried not to make noise, the people in the next room probably heard us. Nothing. The rooms were a little simple with few places to store clothes and baggage. Light smell in the bathroom. road in was a little rugged. Nothing. there were no any cheese and/or charcuterie for breakfast but it would be nice to have them. Our room Capucinne did not have shelf to put toothbrush etc although our Daughters did. We were disappointed to find that the rooms were not in the main building of the chateau as the photos lead us to believe, but in a small, converted annex. Our modern bathroom (cappuccino room) had very impractical sinks. There was nowhere to put the soap and toiletries other than on the floor.
