  We arrived very early and was unable to check in but we were able to check in room early once ready about 2 hours early. Hotel staff pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.   We stayed in the hotel Valadon, it was very narrow but funcionate. The reception was in an other hotel just across the street but we did not mind. When we arrived in the evning, the portier a young man was very helpfull and serviceminded. The room we stayed in had window towards a back yard and was clean and quiet. For the price, money well spent sinc - Position was great, right next to Rue Cler which had fabulous place for breakfast especially Cafe Central. Ten minute walk to Eiffel Tower and 2 mins to Metro station. Also a laundromat at the top of the street. We had the 2 bedroom family cottage. Our three kids could sleep upstairs and we had the privacy of downstairs. Everyone had plenty of room. Toiletries were abundant.   This is such a lovely, small hotel in a fabulous location for touring Paris on foot, centrally located to most of the major sites and attractions. The staff is warm, friendly and most helpful. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, spotlessly clean, quiet, and a welcome respite from the busy city. The price was more than a hundred dollars a night less than the others in the area. The front desk person was wonderful. The rooms were small and a bit tired, but clean and the showers were hot with lots of pressure. Good internet.
