  Located 3 blocks from the port and a short walk to the sights and tastes of the old town, Claire Hotel was a lovely, quiet shelter. Luba and Esther, owners, are cultured, knowledgable, friendly and helpful. They recommended and booked restaurants.   The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We ended up getting one of the newly renovated rooms which was gorgeous. It was also the only room with a balcony overlooking Place Massena! It was perfect to listen to the Jazz fest that was going on across the street.   Excellent location and friendly staff. Very happy with my stay. Perfect if you´re looking for a combination of dining out, city walks, comfort and a bit of seaside. Promenade des Anglais only 5 minutes walk away and the place itself is in the middle of the famous shopping and restaurant district. Tram stop just around the corner and really easy to... vad folk säger » get to the main train station if you´re prepared to walk for 15 minutes. - We stayed in Siam room - real Thailand in the heart of beautiful Nice. Everything was charming. Owner and staff are very nice. The room is really small but the space is perfectly organized, equiped and designed with a lot of taste. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen has everything you may need. Wifi is fine. Location is perfect. I wish every place I will stay in the future will have such a level of comfort!
