  We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We've been to Paris several times, and this was a short trip at the end of our holiday in the French countryside. Firstly, it's a lively location, with trendy bars and hipster cafes next door to cram-packed african hair salons. I guess it might not suit everyone - the area towards the metro seemed like it ... vad folk säger » might be a bit edgy at night (street market) but in fact wasn't worrying when we got in near midnight (rather sleepy in fact). From our room we had a - The best booking ever: Warm welcoming, helpful staff always smiling (none is french), we were lucky with an upgrade for the same price which made our stay (3 nights) wonderful. The studio was very spacious, GREAT kitchenette, nice living room with flat TV, spacious and very QUIET bedroom with large bed and big cupboard. I appreciated very much the calm (3rd floor) despite the animated street. Also, appreciated that the toilet and shower were just in the entrance and separated from the rest with

  We loved the fact that is was great value for money, and was quite close to the subways and the tour busses so getting into town was not an issue. Very neat and clean and close to supermarkets. - Good price and location. The area isn't bad like people make out, possibly intimidating at first but friendly and cheaper than the tourist areas.   Loved being in the heart of things - next door to the moulin rouge, in an area of paris that never sleeps. We were four storeys up with a full length balcony, so could watch everything from our apartment.noise was not a problem as he apartments are double glazed. Despite some Paris in the springtime snow, the apartment was warm and cosy. We enjoye... vad folk säger » d having the use of a kitchen to eat at home when we felt like it. But also loved the restaurants which were a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend 'L - Location: in the middle of a lively area that stays awake throughout most of the night (hotel is adjcent to Moulin Rouge), it is also 50m from an entrance to the metro. Still at night, if the windows are shut - the room is quiet and cozy. Size: it is certainly not large, but compared to other places at this price range we managed (with 5/8yr old kids) perfectly well inside - anything more may become an issue! Everything inside seemed to work fine, we even managed to cook one meal :) Price: exce
