  The proprietors were very welcoming and attentive and happy to greet us. We had a beautiful room outlooking the courtyard with french doors and a small balcony on which to sit (bliss - one morning I awoke to the birds singing - who gets this in any city setting?). In the comfort room there was a change of towels each day, hairdrier in the closet and free of charge safe. Location is perfect, next to Oberkampf metro station, and also near to the second one. The neighborhood is friendly and safe, full of brasserie's and shops, and also next to restaurant on the corner, where, late at night

  I could not fault this hotel. It was great value for Paris. It's not luxury, but it had everything I needed. The water was always hot. The room was well heated. Everything was spotlessly clean. Excellent location - 5 minute walk to the Metro and surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops.   This was a wonderful hotel, convenient location, for our family and our recent visit to Paris. It is a small hotel and unassuming. It is not for people looking for a luxurious facility, but it was clean and the room was rather large (see below) and we enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The staff was polite, welcoming, helpful and responsiv... vad folk säger » e to any requests we had. We arrived early, before the designated check in time. While dropping off our luggage and making plans for our day, our room - I loved this little hotel! It is in a fantastic convenient location. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the staff was extremely accommodating. It will be my hotel of choice next time I'm in Paris (in fact, I almost hesitate to give it such a good review in fear that I will find it booked when I'm next looking to go!). Very much looking forward to returning. Thank you!

  The staff were very nice and the room was very comfortable. The area was not touristy and the people in the area were very friendly. - Room was good size, and bright. WC was luxe - great to take a long bath instead of a quick shower.

  The staff were outstanding and very friendly. It was spotlessly clean, easy to find and near lots of Metro stations and walking distance to the Bastille. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed for short stays. The Independent nature of the hotel shone through in their quality of care and customer service.   Staff was expecting us and very friendly. Location was great. It was good to have the use of an elevator (lift) and a computer with internet access.
