  1. Design and freshness, room equipment. The building was renovated. Everything is fresh and rooms are small, but not seems so a cause of smart design. Teapot helps save money for breakfast and supper. Towel electric heater helps to use fresh towel on the beach everyday. 3. Staff. All - The hotel was very comfortable and centrally located. The staff was great as well as the breakfast. Lovely room, very comfortable, yet on the small side, but all that was needed. My room was extremely quiet, did not hear anything at all, perhaps because I was on the top floor. Was surprised that it was so quiet because I was on the front side of the hotel on a very busy street

  The double room with en suite was immaculately clean and it had a very comfortable bed. The air conditioning worked very well. The staff were lovely, very helpful. Internet access was free.   The hotel is a wonderful spot. It looks relatively new and is much larger than I expected. The rooms are large, very clean, and well appointed. After many negative experiences with self-check in at places in France, it was a relief to have someone at the front desk 24 hours a day. Highly recommended! - It's a great place to stay when in Marseille if you like to be able to do some of your own meals at home. It's close to the train station but with views out to the water from the upper rooms. While it's in the city it is only a 5 - 10 minute walk downhill to Joliette from where you you can take a bus straight to the beach at L'Estaque.within 20 minutes. Very comfortable and quiet although works currently going on nearby.

  Everything you'd expect from a Holiday Inn. Clean, friendly employees, felt very safe.
