  The location. the location and the location. It is located across the street from the Paris Nord train station (which connect to trains to othe countries and to Paris metro). There are multiple restaurants near to this hotel and one can eat all kinds of food (vegetarian and non-vegetarian). The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. I will recommend, if 1 or 2 people want to stay and use train as mode of transportation. - my wife and i just stayed one night at this hotel for transit. unfortunately no time to explore around the place except a casual walk before we headed to de Gaulle airport the following morning. the hotel is well situated at the Gare du Nurd. yet we struggled a bit to find our way as the train station is huge. our room was clean and aircon running well. no complaint. the buffet at 9 euro per head is convenient who wants to start the day early.

  Everything, pleasant staff, hotel position - The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is ideally situated 200 metres or so from The Gare Du Nord with easy access to the Paris metro system.

  The Staff, especially Jan, David and Alim were so very helpful and professional. Jan helped us confirm our reservations with a tour package and then emailed me confirmation, such a relief to have it handled so capably! Breakfast was so worth the 20 euros, delicious and convenient. Our room, 211, had a twin beds pushed together so we could sleep wi... vad folk säger » th some space! It was so very quiet and relaxing to come back to after a hectic day sightseeing. The hotel is very close to both train stations which - A modern clean hotel very close to the station with interesting sights and walk nearby especially the canal. Montparnasse is a 20 minutee stroll away. The tour bus stops almost outside and of course the metro is across the road. We had room 604 which us at the rear with a balcony and we would recommend this room notwithstanding the fact that is one of the more expensive rooms

  This hotel is in an excellent location, within the Paris Est railway station, and yet the rooms are very quiet. The hotel staff is very friendly and professional. My room was very clean, high-quality and extensive breakfast is served in a beautiful room.   We enjoyed our stay at Ibis Lafayette very much. Location is excellent - just a mere moment from Gare du Nord in a quiet side street. I imagine it may be a bit far from the centre to some people but the metro is just 2 min away and it will take you to Louvre in 10 mins. Breakfast is really really good, fresh juices, selection pastries, ham, cheese... vad folk säger » , fruit, good coffee. This is the only hotel I found that had breakfast included and it was of such a great quality too. The room is basic but has eve - The room was compact and comfortable with a nice view of the Pierre Semard street, quiet and so typically Parisian. Breakfast was awesome, everything fresh and abundant. The staff very helpful. We really had a great stay at this hotel which I recommend to other travellers. Location, 5 minutes walking from Poissoniere metro station and 10 minutes leisurely walking to the Opera Garnier and Galeries Lafayette. Great!
