  I loved the design and furniture of the room, so unique and innovative with a very spacious shower which I did love. Great breakfast too!! But what I liked more was the kindness of the owners of the place. In the morning I forgot my phone at la Celestine and left for a business meeting.   Well, the best aspect about this place was the two ladies who oversee the apartment. The wifi wasn't working when we arrived, so they immediately agreed to refund our money and allow us to stay there for free for the night. It's a cozy little apartment just across the river, a great location. The location was fantastic - about a minute from the cathedral. The owner gave us a discount and bought us cake and tea! And, there was a Nespresso machine with a generous offering of coffee pods.

  We reserved junior suite, but it was upgraded to suite. Room was large, clean and beautiful. We could go out to balcony, enjoying beautiful Alsace building inside.   Location is fabulous - by the spectacular Cathedral and other sights in the old town. But, it is not in the middle of the more hectic - less pleasant - touristy streets. A quick look at any of his gorgeous books, and the artistry of his cr - Service was friendly and always helpful tending to special requests. Location could not be better. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast room charming and cozy. The beds and linens were first class. The room and bathroom was spacious and airy. Free Wi-Fi a plus and necessary for today's traveler. The vegetarian restaurant two doors down was very good, handy and the owner helpful in delivering a late meal to our room.
