They are friendly, competent, and also speak English well for those of us that are not that skilled in French. The location is perfect, and also quiet.   The staff were so helpful! Whatever we needed or wherever we needed to go, they directed us to the right place. Very close to the underground train and buses. Grocery stores, ATM's near by. The room was spotless and warm every single day. Bathroom and toilet are very clean with the towels changed every day.   Hotel Langlois was so much better than we hoped. First time to Paris and had read a lot of feedback about small rooms, uncomfortable, hot, noisy rooms. Hotel Langlois was completely the opposite and everything we had hoped for ... Very comfortable, quiet, airconditioned, perfectly positioned for both attractions, cafe's and restaurants. Also Gare St Lazare was not far away ... and to arrive at Hotel Langlois - we walked with - The hotel is situated close to 2 metro stations, and close to Montmartre. The hotel itself is in an old Parisian building and the whole feel of the place is like something out of the `Belle Epoch`period. The room was very big ( by Parisian standards) and the beakfast was good, with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, and a good selection of bread, meat and cheese. It is only 10 minutes by taxi from the Gare du Nord and there was free wi-fi available. All in all a very nice traditional French hotel
