  Our family had a wonderful time. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The spa was very nice. Breakfast was delicious and offered a huge variety for our teenagers with varying tastes. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even gave us 4 large bottles of water as we were leaving when they heard us talking about needing to find a store to buy ... vad folk säger » some for the car. Another staff member went out of his way to find a restaurant with specific cuisine for us and printed out a map. - Room interior was superb with great selection of bath amenities. Gym was well equipped and pool facilities were extensive including steam room and sauna. Location was good - nice and quiet being in a less busy street but still close to everything.

  The owner/staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal or walikng into town center. The Voillle Sailing Regatta was in full swing...very exciting! My wife and I loved the owners resident dog and 21 year old cat! Breakfasts were delicious...the pool inviting! The outside bar fun!!   Negresco is truly a five star hotel. At 100 years old, it hasn't missed a beat. It combines lovely antiques with spectacular contemporary art. It is a visual candy store. We were staying for another 6 weeks after our week at Negrsco and Eric w - Upon arrival, which was very late at night we were shown to our room which only had twin beds. At once the receptionist apologised and asked us to wait in the room for a few minutes, while he went away to see if he could locate for us a double room. Upon his return he showed us to a magnificent Art Deco decorated double, which also included a glittery silver bath, plus we had a fantastic view of the Mediterranean.   Stunning views from the room balcony. Liked the ambience of the hotel. The beach at Villefranche is awful and absolutely rammed with people as it is the only public beach for miles. Far better to use the hotels private beach across the bay. The decor of the room was sweet but a little dated as were the bathroom fitments. The breakfast at the hotel... vad folk säger » is vastly overpriced at 17 euros- far better to eat breakfast at one of the neighbouring cafes. - The hotel is in the best location with an excellent view from your balcony overlooking the harbour. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the room was very clean. Villefranche-sur-Mer is lovely and has a train station for travelling to Nice, Monaco etc.
