The Château was named after its founder who settled in the castle in the thirteenth century. The castle was always the home of nobility and in the past contained hundreds of hectares of ground. The Château consists of a main building with two apartments. Outdoor activities: biking, fishing, hiking, a survival centre, recreation lake and there is a tennis court.
The castle has twelve bedrooms and can accommodate up to twenty-eight persons. On the ground floor you can enjoy the fireplace in the living and dining room. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave and a dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and a washing machine. The toilet is separated. In the relax area you can watch cable TV, a DVD or turn on the radio/CD-player.
On the first floor you will find five bedrooms, one interconnecting bedroom and two bathrooms. Both with a bath, shower and toilet. On the second floor there is another living room with a fireplace, a TV and DVD player. There is another kitchen with an oven, microwave and dishwasher. Four bedrooms, one interconnecting bedroom and one children's bedroom. Two bathrooms, a separate toilet and a washing machine.
In the guest house on the ground floor there is a bedroom with two single beds and on the first floor a double bed on the loft. A cot is available, just as a high chair and playpen (on request). You can prepare meals on the barbecue in the garden with garden furniture or swim in the shared swimming pool of 14 x 7 m. It is also possible to play table tennis.
Next to the Chateau there is an inner courtyard with several dependencies. The castle is located in a park of 1 ha. The castle is located in a valley surrounded by forests in the village Saux. Besides its trees, there is an orchard which delivers tasty fruit in summer. The castle is located in full freedom and tranquillity, with views on Saux.
