Great Historic hotel since 1914! Its in the Downtown central Chamonix shopping street! Great mountain view to the French Alps from the 4th floor. Old style large rooms. -
The staff were extremely friendly and spoke a little English which helped.
Breakfast was basic but served the purpose and everything that was there was good quality.

the location of this hotel is very convenient. if u r travelling to Switzerland it is enroute to Switzerland. it is not very far away from city center and the hotel card provides u free bus service to Chamonix center. my family like the location of hotel very much. totally recommended for young honey moon couple and family too. -

Great atmosphere - familyrun hotel. Cosy, clean rooms. Storage space for snowboards and boots. Good basic breakfast at reasonable price. Extremely central location - close to ski lift, bus stop to other ski lifts, 2 mins walk from main shopping and restaurant area. Quiet location. -

location is perfect, and the rest just does what it says: rooms are clean, the lady is friendly, parking is plenty, les Gaillands crag is just outside with the lake and the bar next door. efficient staff. The room was small but adequate and they gave us a
balcony overlooking the lake at no extra charge. Free wifi, free parking
and a good breakfast for €8.50. We had a car, but the bus is free to

The hotel for us was set in the ideal location, 10 minutes walk to Chamonix town centre with 2 but stops and a train stop outside the hotel. The hotel is lovely, the meals are fabulous and the staff are what really make this hotel great. Friendly and helpful all the time. Will definately be coming back here. No idea why it is down as a 2 star h

Friendly and relaxed place, with close proximity to Chamonix town centre (10min walk) and good links to the slopes. There is bus stop just outside of the hotel, which can take you directly to either Le Tour or Les Houches skiing area. The staff is cool and relaxed, food is amazing and great value for money if you book half board. Excellent 3 course dinners as a part of half board. Great value for money overall, in a very expensive Chamonix area. Nice and cosy restaurant and bar area.
