We received a warm welcome on arrival and our hosts took their time to go through all our questions. We were given great advice on where to eat where to walk etc. When we entered our room we couldn't believe how lovely it was. It was better than the photos and had great attention to detail. Every day we had a little biscuit or candy in our room with a note showing the weather for the next day. Breakfast was amazing! Lovely hotel - mixing old world with modern (nouveau art) - very attractively done. Very large, well appointed room with a large sized bathroom and shower. Huge windows which had a peek-a-boo view of the cathedral. Although breakfast was extra, it was well worth it. Staff was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Certainly had all the extra touches for the price.

The owner was fantastic - a very bad storm caused a roof leak and not only did we get top upgraded the following night, he did not charge us for the leaking roof first night. He also advised and booked restaurants and gave us a lift in his car to the station.
