  The hotel is charming and well located to explore the city by foot. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable although not very big. We loved the Hermes toiletries and the macaroons at night. There was a lot of attention to details. Breakfast was delicious.   If you are a train traveler-this hotel is perfect for you. You can not miss it when you exit the train station. And the area around the train isn't too bad either. I always felt safe. The tram to the city center and points of interest is right there as well. If you are near any form of transportation you can always get where you wanna go. I highly... vad folk säger » reccomend getting the "all-day tram/bus pass" Don't forget it's good for the bus too so if you missed the tram, take the next bus and you can always - this hotel is in a great location across the road from Gare St. Jean. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, it was not very spacious but we were only there to sleep and leave our bags so we could explore the city so for this it was perfect. We had one day to spend in Bordeaux and this hotel was perfect as we had an early train to catch the following morning. We walk from the hotel to the city centre along by the the river and it was a lovely walk through a beautiful
