  Fantastic location, a stone,s throw from the cathedral and the old town of Chartres. Very helpful map sent beforehand by the hotel with info for where to park to drop off luggage. Free car park pass from the hotel for the underground car park which was a five minute walk away. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Also the little train which goes around the old town is a good way to see the lights on the other buildings aro - The location right next to the Cathedral is wonderful and this puts you in the best place for exploring Chartres. The breakfast was fabulous. The manageress/owner was lovely and really helpful. The parking (included in the room rate) in a nearby public car park is easily arranged with the hotel. The room Les Anges was beautiful - very romantic, with views to the front and rear of the hotel, a screened-off sitting area and a bathroom with jacuzzi bath. We will definitely return.

  Proximity to the cathedral was great. My husband and I could walk to it in less than 10 minutes. Although the breakfast was not included, it was worth the cost as it included fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, different breads, as well as scrambled and soft boiled eggs.   Staff were excellent, friendly and helpfull. Everything was very smooth from booking in to booking out. - Rooms were clean and comfortable. A restaurant was available and there was also a Buffalo Grill next door. Handy for Chartres although tricky to find at first.

  Really friendly staff - breakfast is served in the busy bar-cafe next door which has a great French atmosphere. We would certainly use this hotel again as a stop over. - The staff were extremely friendly and helpfull.   Great location, close to the Cathedral and right opposite the Benedictine abbey church of St. Pierre. There is public parking available but during the day it might be difficult to secure a place close to the hotel. We arrived sometime after 6.00pm when it was a little quieter and managed to park very close indeed. The hotel was charming; beautifully furnished and well designed in a very old buil - Charming owners made you feel at home in an extremely relaxed environment. The building was very old and beautiful on the outside but absolutely up to date and contemporary in the room itself which had a beautiful view of the cathedral and Chartres. I strongly recommend this accommodation.

  We arrived late and the reception staff still had a welcoming smile for us. All the staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. Although I speak some French the staff were more than willing to speak english to us. The breakfast buffet was great and a good variety.   Wonderful staff, beautiful room, lovely building. We got trapped at an exit from the motorway, and showed up rather late. The proprietor welcomed us warmly, and pointed us to a place where we could still get a bite to eat. We chose it because we were visiting the Cathedral and it was close.   A very comfortable B&B - excvellent shower and the best and most beatifully presented breakfast we have ever experienced. It matched the cordon-bleu cuisine in the finest restaurant. Free off-street parking just around the corner. There is a fabulous walk into Chartres along the river right into the centre. As is all cities these days, parking is limited-stay and paying! - The décor was excellent--very modern and stylish and it was the cleanest B & B we had ever stayed in. Absolutely immaculate.
