  As this trip included both business and leisure considerations, the hotel was ideal for business access & commuting by train into Cannes, as well as for relaxation by the beach, excellent shopping & good restaurants in the evening. The staff were extremely helpful in all aspects.   We had a triple room at the Aeva hotel as this was the only room available when I was booking. The room, towels, etc were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms were cleaned and the bed made when we put out the little note to request this. The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. I only regret not staying for the full duration of our holiday but had we had longer to bo - We were looking for a hotel close to the Nice Airport, and what a gem. We were about two miles past the airport...but right on the water in a smaller town. We were able to park our car on site, as well as walk on the promenade in front of the hotel. There were also many choices for restaurants on site, across the street on water. Walking distance to train station as well. So location was perfect. It was about a $30 cab ride from Nice...so check bus and train schedules to make sure you can retur

  Friendly owner with excellent English who made us feel welcome and helped us each day with our travel plans. It was one of the highlights of our stay to befriend Gilles and his friendly little dog, Cosette! We enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast each morning. There are a few great supermarkets nearby so a couple of the evenings we were able to have a lighter evening snac - We had a wonderful five day stay in Nice recently. Despite the cool and sometimes rainy weather we managed to have a good time with a marvelous bike tour of the city, a visit to Villefranche and Beaulieu with lots of walking to take in the incredible scenery, a visit to the medieval village of Eze and a lovely, if wet, day visiting the Matisse, Chagall and Beaux Arts museums.   The staff were very welcoming and helpful on arrival at the hotel and all the way through our stay. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was very spacious and clean. The small kitchen is more than adequate for preparing light snacks. Although we didn't use it there was also a dishwasher and microwave to use if required.
