  The location is perfect! More than perfect... You can easily walk to the sphinx and pyramids in 5 min! Our bedroom was facing the sphinx and the pyramids, waking up to that view was an experience that I will never forget. The staff are very very nice, helpful and will never try to get extra money from you (this is rare in Egypt!). The breakfast was not of my liking, as it was too greasy, with cold fries/chips, but a typical Egypian meal- not necessarily bad. But what this hotel extra special is the view.   I can quite confidently say that I have travelled across the world. I am yet to come a cross a hotel this good. In my travels I stayed in 5* hotels as well as youth hostel and anywhere in between. I loved every aspect of my stay in star plaza. I would most certainly not look anywhere else to stay if I ever visit Cairo again and would strongly reco... vad folk säger » mmend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Cairo. I can not fault anything in this hotel specially every member of staff I encountered. - Everything!!. Location is great. Very near you can find many coffee shops such as pizza hut, Costa cafe, MacDonald, Cinnamon. Easily to go to Mohandessin and Dokki-very near. Staff is polite and helpful with the guests. Rooms are clean and with good furniture inside. I like my stay there and i recommend this hotel for other guests.

  I have to give a special mention to Marion the restaurant manager who went out of her way to help us after we were not happy with the reception staff who dealt with us when we arrived. We were going to move hotels but she went that extra mile. She gave us complementary breakfast and it was absolutely amazing. The hotel is the best one for the Pyramids as it is only a 5 - 10 min walk and you can see them from the hotel grounds - This amazing place was perfectly located right next to the Great Pyramid in Giza. We were fortunate to have been upgraded to a suite which was totally awesome with heaps too much space for us (not that we were going to complain). Make sure you pay that extra for the pyramid view - well worth it. The pool was glorious and we were made to feel very welcome by the staff. The security at the gate was very reassuring and I was happy to put up with the small inconvenience.

  I was lucky to be the first guest at the hotel one day before the official opening. Very friendly staff, great location within terminal 3 of the airport. Was great for my purpose (one day business in Cairo). Overall, very trendy , yet simple, furniture. I liked many fine touches they had inside the room. Certainly recommended.

  It's a huge hotel with many restaurants. But it is beautiful. I had a lovely room, big enough to hold a dance in, and the bathroom was a dream. I stayed in the Towers extension and would highly recommend it. The half board package was great. And there was even tea and coffede making in the room, pretty rare in Egypt.The hotel is very close to Cair... vad folk säger » o airport and even though you have to contend with Cairo's terrible traffic if you want to go to town, the taxi fare is very cheap. I would stay there - The staff was very helpful and friendly. The bars with life music offer good distraction. The restaurants offer good food. The hotel is close to the airport and they offer a shuttle bus. They will come and pick you up at the airport and arrange your visa.

  The staff are wonderful, first it was a super easy check in process unlike other hotels, we were there for my wive's birthday, the staff helped me to put together a surprise room decoration, candles and roses and balloons, a cake, a bottle of sparkling wine and all for less than 100 $. It was an excellent experience and I got rewarded from my wife for t - I loved this hotel!!! The staff was awesome and I'd highly recommend booking your tours through the hotel. My tour guide was Mina and my driver was Ahmad. Mina is very knowledgable and Ahmad was a SUPERB driver!!! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY AROUND. Mahmoud (gold room/floor concierge) helped booked the tour and he too made my stay GREAT! I will recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. When I return to Cairo I will definitely be staying here!
