  We liked the accommodation, the room was big, with nice new furniture, with balcony and it was a very quite place even though just few minutes walk from historical center of Cesky Krumlov. The staff was very friendly and ready to help whenever we asked and we needed help with something (hairdryer etc.) We had got also a map of Cesky Krumlov with r... vad folk säger » ecommendations for restaurants, music, galleries etc. Breakfast was ok, with fresh bread, rohliky etc. and homemade products. We will come again for s - Pension Pod Skalkou is located just outside the old town, a five minute walk has you in amongst this gorgeous wee town. The pension is new, clean, very well, appointed, a good breakfast selection is offered and it is staffed by a wonderfully friendly and helpful family. It has to be recommended 100%. Cesky Krumlov is very lucky to have accommodation such as Pension Pod Skalkou available for visitors.

  The hotel is situated within the old town, close to the castle and all other sites. The rooms, though basic ,had everything we needed and were very clean. The breakfast was expansive, more than we expected considering the price of the room. The thing that stood out for us was the friendliness of our host and his ability to speak excellent English.... vad folk säger » Very good value! - Staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.   We are fifty year old first-timers to Prague, absolutely delighted with the city and Hotel Tyl.
