  When I arrived at almost midnight after a long day of travel, the front desk said I did not have a reservation although I had my confirmation. He did find a room there for me and arranged a taxi for the early morning. Good location and price. - I stayed there years ago and wanted to return. The trams stopped right outside the hotel going to the centre if you didnt want to walk, we took the trams everywhere and didnt pay once as there were no inspectors at all!!!.   The rooms were well-designed and our bed was a true double (rather than two beds pushed together - bonus!). We had a top-floor room under the eaves, which had interesting proportions and a nice view onto Kinsky Park, which is a tree-covered hill next to the hotel. The room was incredibly clean, the water heat and pressure from the rain shower was perfect, and there was a hai - I was with my sister and our parents we loved all aspects of the hotel from parking to being close to the trams and in walking distance of the Old Square ! Prague has a lot to offer from food to site seeing.It has just become my favorite European city I will return for sure .The hotel was amazing and I would certainly recommend this to all my family and friends across the world.

  Excellent location - quiet but less than a 10 minute walk to Charles Bridge and the old town. Tram stop about 2 minutes away. Other shops, bars, and restaurants located close by so no need to cross the river again in the evening. Staff very good, breakfast superb. Nice cellar bar and classic sitting room. The staff spoke English well enough that they understood our requests. The room was very comfortable with wing back chairs for sitting, large desk and comfortable beds.   The hotel is out of "old Prague" but only 15 - 20 minutes walk from Charles Bridge; which is why it is pretty good value. The rooms appeared quite new & most renovations of the building are done - except the courtyard. They now have a buffet breakfast which was very good in the downstairs restaurant. We were traveling by - Owner's niece, the receptionist who works on weekends, is EXCELLENT and VERY helpful. She treated all my family's issues with great care and diligence and in a prompt manner. Hotel, even though under construction/renovation on street level for 2 more months, was a great place to stay (close by city and Charles bridge (2 tram stops away)) and had a wonderful restaurant in Rathskeller downstairs.
