  We went during the film festival. Location was great. You have to walk uphill on way back to the hotel, but it was not a problem (for a young couple) and you can use lots of bus lines which stop in front of the hotel.   This is the best value for visiting Karlovy Vary - which can be very very expensive if you stay in a hotel or eat at any of the restaurants. At Family Pension, I paid only 40 euro to stay in a fully equipped studio with full kitchen facility. It allows me to buy fresh produce from the markets and cook at home. The apartment is in top condition and... vad folk säger » I cannot say enough about what a superior value this is!!! - We had an apartment - very spacious and superbly equipped. Separate entry, extremely clean, friendly and trusted owner, sorted out all formalities in 5min. Room was very warm and nice, slept well. Location isn't that central, but certainly not far either. Overall - tremendous price/value proposition..!

  We stayed in the apartment which was big and very nicely decorated. Breakfast was good, well worth the small extra. It is within a short walking distance of everything worth seeing or doing in Karlovy Vary, and you can take one of four bus lines to get back up the hill. - The accommodation is clean, comfotable and value for money.
