  This was a great hotel. Very modern with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The room we had was very clean, in fact the whole hotel was spotless, and a good size with great shower room and good size balcony with table and 2 chairs. The bed was very comfortable. The facilities in the hotel were also very good. In the case of the experience at the hotel we were not let down. Staff were excellent, always helpful and friendly. Facilities were great; wonderful outdoor pool with towels provided and poolside service . Excellent breakfasts individually made if required.   The friendly, professional reception staff we upgraded to room with small balcony, loved the flowers and sea breezes, privacy to sit, chat and paint.   Firstly, we never write any comments about the hotels on here as none have justified the action. Until now. Palace suites is truly a hidden gem in Split. From the moment we arrived (earlier than the required check in time) Zeljka made us feel so welcomed. I wanted to be in Diocletian Palace so I knew not to expect a big chain style hotel. This boutique property was delightful- the staff went out of their way to be helpful, my suite was beautiful-by far the largest Suite I have stayed in during my European travels.   I was coming from Dubrovnik and we were 1,5 hours late because of the Bosnia-Croatia border crossing. Nevertheless, our host Lovre was still waiting for us and actually was in communication with our previous host trying to find out if we were save. I think it has a very good location, the old town is within a nice 10min - We liked everything about our stay. The owners were really friendly and helpful and they wouldn't bother us during our stay like it happened in other apartments before. It is literally 10 minute walk to downtown Split and 3 minutes to the local supermarket Konzum. The apartment is superbly furnished yet practical with all kitchen appliances incl. coffee machine. There is even a small patio with a table and chairs in front of the apartment.

  Great staff, lovely rooms with parquet floors, what looked like New bathrooms (spa showers) good breakfast with plenty of choice, excellent location five minutes from the centre of split. - Very friendly staff, good location, quiet rooms (on the courtyard side at least).

  The rooms were stylish and modern, very big and it all looked really new. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too - adequate selection. The hotel has a large car park which we needed for our hire car. We took a taxi into old town only cost between 40 and 50Kuna about Eur 6 -7.   Excellent everything. Small apartment was brand new-- only a few months old. Couldn't have been more comfortable. My room was located right on the main road around the corner from the harbor so location was great but street noise wasn't an issue. It even had a washing machine, but unfortunately I wasn't there long enough to use it. Nincevica street is a great location, only 5 min walk from town center and beach. Can access town through the city or there is a quiet little mediterran street behind the apartment which also leads to the center. Well equipped apartment and kitchen. Would stay there again.

  Charming, top-floor apartment with roof terrace within walking distance of the city centre. There are several tourist guides present to plan your visits. We were received in a very friendly and helpful way.   All the staff were of a friendly nature and informative. The location for us was just right for us, out of the way of mass tourists/old town. - Cheap, staff very helpful and rooms had air conditioning. Standard but good value for money.
