  The balcony of the apartment is gorgeous with an incredible view right in the heart of the old city. The apartment itself is quite nice, very comfortable and clean, spacious and well furnished.   Ideal location close to the small harbour, bus station, high speed catamarans to Split and Hvar etc, and pleasant bars and restaurants. The famous Zlatni Rat Beach is an easy and pleasant 2 mile walk along the shore. The apartment is spotlessly clean and very well appointed on the inside, although less prepossessing from outside. Don't be put off,... vad folk säger » as there is a splendid panoramic view from the balcony, and the lady owner is very friendly and helpful, (with a bottle of local wine as a welcome gi - We stayed in the two bedroom apartment. Wonderful location close to the promenade and numerous restaurants. The best plus however and despite all the positive reviews was House Racic itself which exceeded our high expectations. Spotlessly clean great facilities ,beautifully furnished and most unexpectedly really cosy. Jaska, the housekeeper was friendly' but unobtrusive. Stayed in some lovely accomodation whilst ho Iidaying in Croatia and House Racic is as good as any. As mentioned by other re

  The apartment was conveniently located a five minute walk from the Diocletian's Palace on a quiet narrow street. Josko, your host, is wonderful and attentive and will do what he can to make sure you enjoy your stay. Though a ground level apartment that didn't allow a whole lot of sunshine in, it meant that the apartment was nice and cool for slee... vad folk säger » ping, and there is an outdoor patio area you can sit on to dine al fresco or enjoy a glass of wine. - Spent two nights here in between visiting Hvar and inland Croatia. Located less than 5 minutes walk from Diocletian's Palace, the apartment was a tranquil oasis tucked away in a backstreet. It was very well maintained and had all the facilities for self catering. Goran who looks after the place was very friendly and accommodating. Would happily stay there again if visiting Split.
