We asked for a double room when we booked but got a twin instead, the manager changed our room within 5 minutes. Breaky was great too. Location was amazing too. Would recommend this place to anyone. The staff were very friendly. There was no problem to talk in Czech. We appreciated it a lot. If we come to Italy, the hardly speak English. The meal was quite good. We are not so choosy, but if you are, you could have a problem.
The hotel is situated close to the sea. The sea is excellent!

I loved the service and the view from our balcony. - I liked everything, it was more than we expected - location by the see and under pine trees, small Jelsa town, excellent facilities - super. It was perfect holiday and I am planning to visit the Fontana Resort again.

It is a great location right in the center of town across from the beach but it is an older hotel and could use some renovation. The beds were just fair and the bathrooms were old. It was probably quite a jewel in its day but its day has passed. The staff was great and it wasn't a bad value for the money but the hotel looks better on the website

We also sticked every morning to home-made jam. Villa is also a restaurant so for the final evening we order fish plate compiled very nicely by Mr. Mato who is in charge -
Villa Britanida is the classical little hotel run by a lovely family.
It's simple and very basic, but has everything. The positiong is strategic, quite and charming, just in front of the sea (and a beach with a great grilled fish restaurant), and close to the port, the autobus station and the center of the town.
The owner is a very lovely person, who did everything to make our request satisfied, with smile and warm-heart. That made a difference for us.

Helt OK strand med servering. - Great location, beach facility, very close to a small gulf where we were able to rent a boat for cruising towards the surrounding islands. Friendly personnel. We enjoyed this side of the island, it was less crowded though we did have a car. The room was adequate with cooking facilities we did not use, but the choice of dining good for a small village.
