However, the owners lived next door and shared our terrace. Although they were very quiet and polite, there was little privacy.   This was the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at. The staff was amazing and the hotel itself was beautiful. It is built into the side of a hill overlooking a beautiful bay at the edge of Rovinj. Our room was amazing, with a balcony that overlooked the bay and the sunset. The bathroom was bigger than our bedroom at home!   Best hotel during our 2 week stay in croatia. The owner, stefania, is super detailed conscious and does everything perfectly. She has so much pride in her place. The views are just stunning (green, mountains, pool, and sea). It's an old farmhouse converted into a palace in the middle of nature, but 20 minutes gorgeous drive to cities and beach.   We loved everything about the hotel. All of the staff there were helpful and welcoming. We had booked a classic room and were upgraded to a superior room.   We stayed in the separate Stonehouse of the complex. Very nice cottage style with bedroom, small kitchenette, bathroom and a small loft for an additional bed. We also had our own courtyard and facilities. The owners were very relaxed and friendly.
