  The best stay we had in Croatia! The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Zibi's owner, Alenka, is easy to talk to and very helpful. Nice beaches, shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. - Excellent customer service. Personnel was extremely helpful and friendly.   We spent just a few gorgeous days at Velanera hotel. It is a pieceful place with nice, newly equipped bedrooms and very helpfull, friendly staff. We really enjoyed having breakfasts at the beautifull terrace overlooking swimming pool. Their scrammbled eggs with vegetable were definitely the best we ever had. The breakfast was excellent, we had to wait for it a bit long, but once it was served it was really good. The location is nice, peaceful, but you would need a car if you want to explore other areas which you definitely need to do when in Istria so it is a good starting point and an excellent place to come back to after day excursions.

Even the dogs were super friendly. The location is perfect. All you hear is the symphony of the birds. You are close to a beautiful park. You can swim in the ocean and still you are only a 15 min. drive from Pula for shopping, culture and restaurants. All in all... we left the place feeling like we want to come back here again.
