  Great staff, lovely rooms with parquet floors, what looked like New bathrooms (spa showers) good breakfast with plenty of choice, excellent location five minutes from the centre of split. - Very friendly staff, good location, quiet rooms (on the courtyard side at least).

  Had a great 3 nights at Apartments Gold. Very Central and 2 minute walk to Palace and central Split. Owner Goran a treasure and very helpful. Room clean and nice shower and comfy bed. I would definitely stay there again for the convenience for a few days. If staying longer then probably you would want something a bit bigger.

  Villa Urbi et Orbi was 5 minutes walk to the center and just a few minutes more to the ferries and harbour. The staff were very friendly and we even arranged a drive to the airport through them.   The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was pleasant and very clean. The buffet breakfast was an amazing selection of meats, cheeses, pastries and fruit, as well as bacon, eggs and sausages etc. - Nice people, excelent room. Good location: near the Old Town and a terminal bus with destiny to the airport. Fair breakfast.

  Bra service - Comfort, clean big modern rooms - Rooms were wonderful, comfy bed, huge bathroom, and breakfast was great. Location was reasonably good (5 min walk to market, 10 mins walk to downtown).

  I came in October during the off season, was a bit apprehensive due to other reviews - pleasantly surprised though. When I was here this place was cleaner, more comfortable and more spacious than you would expect for the price. Its great value and a great location. Showers were fine- no leakage. Great that it has a lift- no stairs. Plenty of space... vad folk säger » for my luggage that would max out any ryanair limits- I even tried to imagine it in high season & think as long as u kept your stuff in your bag - Superb hostel - the 8 person dorm looked exactly as the pictures. Very clean and comfortable. Separate toilet, shower and sink to avoid queues for the bathroom among 8 people. The hostel's buffet breakfast is only 37 kunas (5 euros) and is very tasty. Located around the corner from the main high street Marmontova, and close to both the sea and restaurants/bars.

  Ett otroligt trivsamt, fräscht och charmigt hotell med ett utmärkt läge. - The owners of the hotel were extremely friendly, accomodating and went out of their way to insure a pleasant stay in Split. It is a very short walk to the Palace of Diocletian and the ancient city center of Split. - The location is great, only 150m from the quayside and 300m from Riva, but on a side street so nice and quiet.   The rooms were stylish and modern, very big and it all looked really new. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too - adequate selection. The hotel has a large car park which we needed for our hire car. We took a taxi into old town only cost between 40 and 50Kuna about Eur 6 -7.   As I wanted a place with a nice view I was upgraded from studio to a 2-bed appartment / penthouse! I had a terrific view from the terrass and being solo I spent wonderful evenings eating and reading there. Everything was clean and nice, very comfortable but be aware not to carry too much lugage as the penthouse is on 6th floor and no elevator. She served us juice/water, provided everything we needed to explore the city and around. She lets us feel home the moment we arrived her apartment! *Location: This apartment has the best location ever in split! Everything can be reached by fo - Leila took us right under her wing. Not only did she welcome us with open arms, her recommendations and helpful information made us feel a lot less like tourists and more familiar before we even went exploring. We ended up eating at the restaurant she suggested every night we were there (Apetit)! Knowing we were up for some exercise she also suggested some good running routes (lots of stairs nearby). When we realized we would need another night after returning from our boat trip she immediately
