  Well-located within the Old Town of Hvar with great harbour-front views; Suite 522 was spacious (must have been at least 40 sq m), well-designed in contemporary style and colours and had a 2-person jacuzzi in the bathroom which our four-and-half year old loved!   Great in all senses. New, clean, fancy, helpful, kindest staff, top notch design, funniest swimming pool, great location, with best views and just a short walk from wonderful Hvar Town Square - Wow. What a hotel!!!!! Location, staff, facilities, oh the views! Amfora is a must.

Not only did the staff pack us a breakfast to eat on the ferry, but they also packed us a huge lunch! Unbelievably generous in a day and age where so many places nickel and dime their guests.   Our host was great! Her husband drove us to the ferry/bus port early in the morning to catch us a bus.The room was great. Had full facilities and very private. Couldn't hear the other guests which was nice. Margita was always available to answer questions. It was a bit of walk down to the beach, but it was straight down stairs. Didn't take too long, maybe 1 - The apartment was very luxurious. It was spotless and had beautiful views of the sea and islands around Hvar. The apartment had a great porch with a big table and chairs. The beach was just a short walk from the apartment and a little store was about a five minute walk. The town of Hvar was about a fifteen to twenty minute walk along the beach, but I was told it was less if you walk by road. There was room for parking our big van too (at no extra charge).
