  We booked a standard room in the Mercure and got an upgrade to a suite in the Grand Mercure which was fantastic! Couldn't fault anything at all. Pure luxury, room enormous, bed so comfy!! Breakfast was full western and eastern buffet with drinks served to the table. Staff excellent all round. Use of the leisure facilities in the Sofitel an added b... vad folk säger » onus. Highly recommended. - Nice hotel. Quite location in residential square with all Accor hotels nearby. Staff very efficiently, expecially we wish to thanks a lot Mr. Andy who gave us all necessary info's needed as well as train ticketing support. We do suggest a short visit early morning to the near park, to see ordinary people practise Thai-Chi and dancing

  Everything! Location is perfect - in the center of the city but at he same time in an own courtyard with so much silence and calmness. The rooms are designed very well, its style is connected with the history of the building. Beds very comfortable, room and bathroom very clean. The stuff of both Grand Mercure and Sofitel are extremely polite helpful and professionals. They arrang - The hotel was well located, comfortable and clean; it also had a quite interesting historical and stylish aspect to it. The location is excellent -- one can walk to most of the sites within old city walls comfortably (e.g., the walk to the Southern entrance to the city wall is around 30 minutes). The hotel's staff, though not always fluent in English, was eager to help and friendly. The taxi ride to the Qin army and other sites, organized by the hotel's concierge, was easy to book and well-p

  We specifically booked a room with a street view in this hotel after reading reviews about the Bell Tower and the traffic that moves around it, and we were so pleased that we did. It is beautiful and fascinating to watch the traffic and people moving about especially at night. Buffet breakfast had a nice varie - The ideal location to the bell and drum towers, easy access to airport shuttle, English speaking staff, an unexpected treasure is Xi'an wish we had stayed longer..a city full of life and culture. Would recommend the visit not just to see the Terracotta Warriors this place offers more than that. Very enjoyable stay.

  I liked everything about this hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. More than any other place that we visited in china. Special thanks to jim. Make sure you ask for him because he is a very kind and helpful person - and extremely honest. Food was excellent. Service was excellent.
