  Very friendly staff. Some even remembered me from a previous visit. That is nice. On my last night the hotel was fully booked but the service levels remained the same. Very easy check in and out.   It had a really nice view over the Bund. Everything was white and clean. Staff was really attentive and they helped us on our problems with a lost passport. It had a washing machine. The kitchen, while not spectacular, is quite adequate for a short stay.   IFC Residence was my choice for a single night due to its location to many of the main sites in Shanghai (city) also, it is attached directly to the Ritz Carleton and the IFC Mall that gives you many choices when shopping for fashion, gifts and has many food choices. Indoor pool and gym are great and wi-fi is free and fast. Staff are great, friendly and warm. They can express themselves in English. Worth going back and staying at this hotel again.
