  This hotel was one of the best we have ever stayed in..The staff were so helpful they all spoke very good English The suite had been upgraded to a two bedroom and really had the WOW factor..Would definitely stay again - The Lanson is an apartment building where many expats live, so it feels like a home rather than a hotel.   I would most definitely recommend these apartments. They are in a fantastic location, are clean and very comfortable. The staff was helpful and most spoke some english. The apartments were a little deceiving before we arrived and we definitely got much more than what we were expecting. We rented a one bedroom suite for 3 people and were expecting ... vad folk säger » a living area with sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. In reality, you are getting an apartment with two full bathrooms, a full kitchen with dish - Excellent on all counts. Staff, rooms, gym, comfort, location...everything is perfect. The ladies at the front desk are really nice. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my room was larger than advertised. The view of the city was wonderful. I felt safe and protected in the building, never seen so many cameras in any building before. The internet was really fast and reliable the entire time I was there. I will definitely come back there again when I am in Shanghai. 10/10

The room was better than advertised, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was a pure treat...mostly Asian, of course, but there was eggs and toast and oj and stuff available, too.   I loved the size of the room. 52sq. Meters. The bed was huge, which was great for us as the whole family fitted in. Sherpa's deliver there. A big plus for us as we can't go out with the children to eat in the evening. Their own restaurant was being renovated so breakfast was served in the adjoining cafe. The staff spoke great English and were always polite and - A truely different place.My room was spacious and clean. The service without a fault, the internet reliable and fast. The location can't be any better - everything walking distance or short inexpensive taxi ride. Lot's of old Shanghai nearby to explore by walking. I will be back !!
