  Didn't know about our Booking .com reservation on arrival so we took a more expensive room; but worth the money - a really comfortable luxury hotel. Staff we're extremely friendly and helpful.   Very friendly staff. Some even remembered me from a previous visit. That is nice. On my last night the hotel was fully booked but the service levels remained the same. Very easy check in and out.   Stuff are professionals. They know how to deal with Guests . Le Meridian is choosing them Very Carefully. I respect that. Location is the best for everything. You will enjoy Shanghai . Facilities are kind of okay . they can make more. Very cooperating stuff, they will do whatever you want. they treat you like a VIP member. Very easy axess to metro lines. Breakfast was rich and the service was exellent. I need to mention our great view from our room on the 37th floor as well.

  The best location in Shanghai - safe area, on subway line 2 and close to everything, including some of the best restaurants in Shanghai. Every detail of the hotel is thought through and done to the highest standard. The smell of the air in the hotel was beautiful! I would say this is a six-star hotel - not five!
