  The location is excellent, close to Forbidden City .Tiananmen Square and short walk go to a beautiful Jingshan park. Close to the Beihai Park and bar street. Not a big hotel but practically characteristic, fresh supply of towels and beddings everyday. For the price of the hotel I think this is a value. I highly recommend it to others. - Excellent ... vad folk säger » location, easy to find, near subway, buses and taxis. Helpful staff - we arrived at 8 in the morning and still got a room immediately (it was cleaned quickly for us to move in). I also liked the hotel design with the open courtyard. The rooms were bright and the use of glass made the hotel seem very open and friendly.

  Very comfortable and clean, traditional chinese gardens and furnishings. Perfectly situated in the hutongs ( what a welcome difference to the bland upmarket chain hotels in the centre) . Visiting on foot is easy, taxis close to hand , atmospheric area . Good value varied breakfast both chinese and continental which sets you up for the whole day, ... vad folk säger » and the restaurant a la carte dishes in the evening are delicious. ( A special mention for the lovely restaurant staff ). A great choice for seeing - The hotel was decorated in old style china, great if you want the feel of stepping back in time.The rooms were clean and tidy and the gardens and buildings are very picturesque. Staying here puts you in the centre of a real chinese community, all the people were friendly and if you are a westerner you will draw a few glances. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and location
