  Really like the place, real Beijing feel. - By its very nature I was immersed in the Hutong and saw how those people live on a daily basis. For one week I got to feel like a real Beijinger living in the Hutong (albeit a fancy Hutong) and see the culture in a way that is impossible for a tour group staying in a fancy hotel.   Excellent location, to get to the hotel you need to take exit B at Beihei North station and go ahead for 2 minutes and you are at the hotel!   The King Parkview Hotel is in the hutong district of Beijing which gives you a fascinating insight to old Beijing. While many Chinese tourists were doing tours of the of the area, we saw it first hand. The hotel is an older style building but quite comfortable. There is also a nice convenience store downstairs and great alley cafe down the road. Family room was spacious and had a pc. Its also inside a nice, quiet and quaint compound.staff were helpful in getting us a taxi and attending to our needs.

  The location is excellent, close to Forbidden City .Tiananmen Square and short walk go to a beautiful Jingshan park. Close to the Beihai Park and bar street. Not a big hotel but practically characteristic, fresh supply of towels and beddings everyday. For the price of the hotel I think this is a value. Helpful staff - we arrived at 8 in the morning and still got a room immediately (it was cleaned quickly for us to move in). I also liked the hotel design with the open courtyard.   We love the area and the Chinese style of the hotel and the fact that it is very quiet although we are in the center of a very active Hutong - The chinese style of the place. The breakfast, simple but nice good value for money. Nice staff. The courtyards... quite and authentic.

  Good location near subway, good prices - Staff was good and generally helpfull, although the coudn't order any tickets unless you went to the travel agency that the hotel runs (same pricey tours that every tout agency in Beijing offers)
