The Shanshui has a perfect location , as it is right on the doorstep of Xidan's Shopping Malls .. Really like the place, real Beijing feel. -
By its very nature I was immersed in the Hutong and saw how those people live on a daily basis.
For one week I got to feel like a real Beijinger living in the Hutong (albeit a fancy Hutong) and see the culture in a way that is impossible for a tour group staying in a fancy hotel.
