The room was better than advertised, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was a pure treat...mostly Asian, of course, but there was eggs and toast and oj and stuff available, too. For the most part the facilities were very clean. Lobby and restaurant were very nice. Excellent location. I'd use this hotel again.

  Amazing hotel, excellent service. It was my birthday during this time and I had not told any of the staff but they must of deduced this from my ID and so they sent me a cake. This was a nice touch to an excellent hotel.   The hotel is very well located downtown, at a walking distance of many attractions. Rooms are clean and confortable. Staff is professional and efficient.Our room was supposed to be located at a lower floor but we asked for a quiet room and we have been upgraded to the 7th floor. We could leave the luggage at the reception the next day until the evening when we had our flight. We definitely recommend it! - The location of this hotel is amazing. It's not far from East Nanjing Road metro station. There is exchange machine in the lobby. The staff speak English and they are very friendly. The room is cosy and has a bath, what is a really rare thing for China. I am sure that I will stay there every time I come to Shanghai.
