  Shi Lin from the hotel's 'Beijing Daily Tours' was incredibly helpful both organising tours and even just helping out with questions I had about the city and writing down names of places in Chinese for me. The room was secure and had a good shower. - loved the location of the close proximity of all Sightseeings. You can walk all around.

  The King Parkview Hotel is in the hutong district of Beijing which gives you a fascinating insight to old Beijing. While many Chinese tourists were doing tours of the of the area, we saw it first hand. The hotel is an older style building but quite comfortable. There is also a nice convenience store downstairs and great alley cafe down the road. Family room was spacious and had a pc. Its also inside a nice, quiet and quaint compound.staff were helpful in getting us a taxi and attending to our needs.

  The location is excellent, close to Forbidden City .Tiananmen Square and short walk go to a beautiful Jingshan park. Close to the Beihai Park and bar street. Not a big hotel but practically characteristic, fresh supply of towels and beddings everyday. For the price of the hotel I think this is a value. Helpful staff - we arrived at 8 in the morning and still got a room immediately (it was cleaned quickly for us to move in). I also liked the hotel design with the open courtyard. Of course, as it is based in the center of the city, near the main square there are always a lot of visitors, so it is not so new, it's rather old, but still very clean. And that's very good.   Really like the place, real Beijing feel. - By its very nature I was immersed in the Hutong and saw how those people live on a daily basis. For one week I got to feel like a real Beijinger living in the Hutong (albeit a fancy Hutong) and see the culture in a way that is impossible for a tour group staying in a fancy hotel.
