  Nice hotel with good rooms and good beds. Very good to stay at if you are planning to fly the next morning. The free shutte bus will just take 5 minutes to the airport. In some way you get the feeling that this hotel has an American or European manager. It is the only hotel I have been to in China that is running like a normal western hotel. Room was very comfortable and well kitted out with kettle and variety of toiletries. There is a treadmill on site, free and fast Internet, and free shuttle that goes to the airport regularly. Lifts are very quick despite 9 floors of rooms. Doormen are excellent at helping ith cabs if you can't speak Chinese.

  There was shuttle bus at every half hours from the hotel to the airport and the subway the first station is at the airport so the connection to the subway is so convenient. Subway reaches evry nice point of shanghai so the we consider the location is also nice. - room and facilities were ace. Food was great really pleasantly surprised.   W stayed just one night in this gloriously comfortable hotel which was close to the airport for our onward flight. We ate vegetarian food in one of the private rooms in the Royal China restaurant and it was extraordinary and incredibly good value at £18 for several courses for both of us.   This is a great hotel to overnight between flights to and from Shanghai Pudong airport. I arranged - at short notice - for a (free) hotel pickup at the airport, and this worked perfectly; I also took the hotel bus - again gratis - back to the airport (c. 15 minutes) the next morning. Bottom line - this will be my default hotel whenever I tr - Short taxi ride from pvg airport,shopping mall at the back of the hotel and easy walk to busy shopping areas.Great room service, excellent bathroom. No problems finding English speaking staff and all were courteous and friendly.Room was much better than I expected for the money paid. Free shuttle bus to airport as well! Hint: when travelling by taxi have the phone number of your hotel for the driver, they dont speak english but will ring the hotel for directions.
