We love the environment there -- like staying in the park. We took the bus to another side of Baiyun mountain and had a great climb. After a few hours climbing, we stopped at a small restaurant almost on the top of the mountain for a delicious lunch.

I was there during the Canton Fair which makes it more like a time of celebration for the hotels in the city of Guangzhou. Everyone has their own special services for the fair.
The Hotel Royal Tulip Guangzhou had arranged some very helpful services for people attending the trade fair which made a big difference to my stay.

I stayed for 2 days in a ex suite with my wife the room was a very high standard of cleanliness and all the usual ammeneties you'd expect of a 4star establishement the breakfast was a good standard but felt with the buffet the food could have been randomly changed more often to keep it looking a little more fresher to the eye but above all else the staff took time out to always make you feel welcome bless

The staff were attentive and the room service was prompt and the food good. The location is very central and there are lots of western shops and places to eat including the inevitable Starbucks and McDonalds. The room was large and very clean and the bathroom was excellent and very large which for a business hotel is unusual.

Excellent welcome, the moment I stepped into the lobby I was greeted warmly and the check-in went very smoothly. I made a reservation for an Executive Room and when checking in I was offered a cheap upgrade to the Executive Club Floor. Excellent value for money, fantastic breakfast... Also really enjoyed the Club experience! Complimentary drinks and snacks in the late afternoon was a real treat! Been in GZ many times and this was the best hotel I stayed in so far.

For me is the 3rd time i stayed at Baiyun Hotel.
It is a good hotel if you go to Guangzhou for Business. Indeed it is a Chinese hotel and you can have some little difficulties with the language and cigarette (if you are not a smoker).
