  The staff members are incredibly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing and the location is great for walking to various parts of the city. The accommodations are clean and comfortable and hold a bit of Winnipeg history within their walls. I went in for one drink and stayed for over two hours. The complimentary coffee delive - I loved the attention to detail, the cleanliness of the rooms and of the hotel in general. It gave us the experience of slipping back in time. Most important was the human connection--the friendliness and graciousness of the staff. Our questions and requests were responded to quickly and politely. The only slight exception to this was the young woman who checked us out on the last day. She was just a bit brusque with me and this was an unfortunate last but important connection. Otherwise, every

  I liked the weekday staff at the Thriftlodge, they seemed to have a better attitude and had more smiles. The food was good, great value for your money - Pool was very nice

  The cook in restraunt very nice polite and excellent with food. The front desk lady very helpful and nice polite. The room very clean.   We absolutely loved Mariaggi's Theme Suites Hotel. With such a strong history and amazing rooms I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Winnipeg. We stayed in the Hawaiian room and it had everything we could have wanted including a pool table, huge TV, steam shower and waterfall jacuzzi. The room itself was great... vad folk säger » but it's the little extras that make it such a comfortable place to stay when travelling, I loved that they provided full size shampoo/conditioner, b - Loved the room!
