  After booking and receiving confirmation, we finally arrived in the evening hours of July 31, 2013. Initially, we were made aware, that the hotel was fully booked out, but the friendly hotel staff was searching for an alternative for one night. This alternative turned out to be an extraordinary experience in one of the Middle Beach Lodges. For the remainder of our stay, the extremely friendly mana - The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat.   Lovely clean room with great bathroom. Superb views from windows and balcony. Excellent location within walking minutes from town and many options for eating. Very helpful staff with great recommendations for eating and sight seeing trips. Smoking is permitted on balconies, so that is a plus or minus depending on your preference. Easy walk to all amenities.
