  Best hotel! The staff is superb, the rooms are so comfortable, the location is perfect, the food is great, and the whole experience was amazing. My boyfriend and I got stranded in the snow a couple of miles from Quebec City. When we called the hotel, the concierge sent someone out to help us. He was so kind and patient. The staff w - The location was perfect for a post cruise stay -- right across the street from the cruise ship. The room was truly fabulous: warm, inviting, comfortable, quiet. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly and the amenities were consistent with a 5 star hotel.

  Warm,friendly, helpful staff that were understandably proud of their lovely city. So appreciative of the folks at the Front Desk. Their tips on scheduling enabled us to catch wonderful outdoor performances that we would have missed if we hadn't known to make a point of seeing them on our first day of arrival. - Everything!   The staff made our stay very pleasurable. They were very courteous, attended to our requests, always willing to give us information and assistance with directions, restaurants, etc. The location was the best--- right in the heart of the old city. LeGermainn was the first hotel I ever stayed at in Montreal (back in 2003) and I've not sta - The bed was incredibly comfortable. I opted for a bathtub and it was also comfortable with endless amounts of hot water. The toiletries are very good quality and replenished daily. I was there five nights and it was quiet every night. The coffee machine in the lobby is very good quality and I loved the hot chocolate. The staff are consistently helpful and friendly.

  The restaurant service was fantastic and cannot remember when I have tasted such nice food. We stayed for 5 nights, 4 of which we took breakfast and dinner. In hindsight this was a little too long, as eating 5 courses a night does not do the waistline much good.   The staff were bilingual and it was easy to communicate in English, even though I wanted to practice my French. It was in a relatively good location just outside of the Old City and basically everything I wanted was within walking distance (did not take a cab or transit at all). The Quebecois, like the French, KNOW how to eat, and they seemed always to ensure that when selling you any product, they gave you all the info you needed to ensure the best experience when eating or drinking it.   We spent 4 nights in the Nelligan and rate this amongst the best of our hotel experiences anywhere. Rooms were spacious and well furnished (exposed brickwork is very stylish). All of the staff we spoke to were extremely helpful and spoke both French and English fluently. It's well situated in Old Montreal (you'll need their valet parking which is... vad folk säger » reasonably priced) and is right in the middle of some lovely galleries, shops and restaurants. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for this hotel but it's def - We loved the feel of the hotel and the way it had been renovated to keep the charm of the exposed bricks and stone. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. The hotel is located right in the heart of Old Montreal and it is within easy walking distance of great restaurants, bars, art galleries, historic sights and the waterfront. We look forward to staying there again and again.

  Beautiful old converted warehouse across from the ports in old Montreal. All the latest ammenities and updates. Beautiful bedding and mattress. The staff were extraordinary. We were greeted by Frederik who took care of our baggage then parked the car. Sylvie, the front desk person, helped us with numerous travel issues - small and large.

  It is a GREAT location for walking the city, shopping, sight-seeing etc. It's very close to walk from the train station. The Tourist Information Centre was only a few blocks away, from where one can do the hop on/hop off bus tour of the city. It's also a pleasant walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. I could walk right down to the big department store, Hudson Bay, and to a cvs pharmacy for anything that I might need to pick up. The people who cleaned the rooms did a perfect job. It was very handy to have the kitchenette. It was also good to have laundry facilities right off the gym. We found this place on the Internet
